Now my guinea pig's gone too...

Yesterday and today, my guinea pig, Acacia (nicknamed Schoompers after the sounds he made), seemed more quiet than usual.
I didn't notice anything truly wrong until a few minutes ago, when I discovered that Acacia had passed on.
At first I thought he was resting, but then I picked him up and it became clear that he's dead. He didn't move or anything.
He must of gotten sick and we didn't know. Either that or he reached his age limit (He was 2 When he died. Some people say maximum guinea pig life span is 5 to 7, but I dunno what to believe. His time was still too soon.)
But the good thing is that it didn't look like he suffered before he died.

I can't believe you're gone already. For the short while we had you, you've been nothing but the greatest guinea pig to me and my family.
I'm going to miss you, buddy. We all will...
